 Playing dead!  Playing dead with JK- Possum possum!  Bonobo didn't play dead and played cool D: After sending my mom off to Korea and sobbing like a tokki I am, I chilled at the airport – I got drinks from Starbucks and read ‘Samurai Deeper Kyou’ (Manga) Until my laptop broke on me- (Curse you, Toshiba, I am ordering a Dell Studio 15 for my birthday, and I shall not spend a penny on another Toshiba, ever again) Luckily I didn’t have a lot of time left when my laptop broke so I grabbed a magazine on notebook computers and boarded the flight to Mammoth – (My trip was cheap at the total cost of $122 – Because I booked ahead-)
Shaking like a rattle the plane departed the dusty LA sky- Look here- I don’t usually fly during the day so it was interesting to see LAX from the air-
After about 20 minutes they served beer and wine so I took the opportunity to sip on free booze. And when I was not even done with my wine, they said we were ready to land- And when I looked out the window, everything underneath was covered in snow- I assume it was the Sierra-
After nibbling on some food we headed to watch WCI- This was my third year watching the rail jam at night and it was really cold- Everyone did well and I was surprised how young the crowd got compared to previous years-
We took a good spot but it was very crowded :< And some 7 foot tall guy and his gf stood in front of us blocking everything :< I felt like a midget.
Setup was pretty basic but the middle kink rail seemed to give people a hard time- Personally I think Tyler did really well too but the prize went to Ryan Paul- I am glad he got it because his front flip 180 really made the competition hot and from what I hear more than anyone he seems to need the money ! 10 grand yo! 3 reasons why I flying to Mammoth is cool
1. Flight time is 1 hour and 10 minutes 2. They serve you wine – after you finish the glass, you are already there 3. I got to take pictures and talk with JP, Simon, Joe Sexton – I mean I’ve seen them at bear before- Passed by them, I eyed them etc, but I never really had the chance to talk- Very cool! Bonobo kind of made me do it too haha- And JP made me say that I suck because he asked if I was representing at Bear after I said I go to Bear and Mammoth almost every week during season- So hearing that I ride very often JP Walker asked me… JP Walker: So you repping out there? Me: Uh, actually I kind of suck :< I don’t have a lot of power- JP: But snowboarding is about finesse too- Me: Uh…. :< JP: So you are an all around klutz huh- Me: Yeah :< My balance isn’t that bad but overall it’s a miracle I snowboard at all- JP: Yeah but what can you do? Me: backside slide :< Simon: Back 5? JP: Backside Slide- JP: Do you jump at all? Me: small ones only! …. (silence) Me: But I have a lot of fun -! JP: That’s the most important part! Me: -_-;;
 At Mammoth Airport with Joe Sexton, Simon Chamberlain(cute and tall!), and JP Walker! What a treat  At Mammoth Airport with Joe Sexton, Simon Chamberlain, and JP Walker - I am not the most outgoing person in the world so it took a while to conjure up the nerves to say meekly "Can I take a picture with you guys!"  Clouds of Mammoth- This too, was a treat It was just me and Bonobo who made the trip in the end- Sucks how no one wanted to go – Well, people wanted to go but there were problems- Anyhow it ended up being a pretty good trip I practiced riding switch time to time and I get the gist of it but it’s so hard to turn my face to my left instead of right-! I guess it will take a lot of practice like everything I do; I wish I could pick up stuff really fast like other people but it’s just the way I am built :< Well, at least I am trying! Toe turn on regular stance is just terrifying for me right now. haha. It’s so hard to put more weight on my left foot too- At least I had fun trying! It was hard to resist the temptation to just ride goofy-
Christmas Day @ Mammoth
Christmas day riding was just fabulous- It was sunny, calm, and snow condition was so nice- And to my surprise, there weren’t that many people at all- Now I wish I took more time on the slopes on Christmas day because it was just such a gorgeous day- But I was so hungry and tired, we decided to leave earlier than usual. D: What a mistake.  Christmas day @ Mammoth -With Santa and Mammoth mascot Woolly. I wish Woolly could speak in his costume! (Or is it a girl!? who knows)
 Christmas day- Since it was just me and Bonobo we didn't take many pictures. And Bonobo didn't like taking pictures!
 Main Park was closed - They were blowing snow to build monster kickers I guess! But the super pipe was looking sharp!
12 26 2009No pictures! It was a pretty miserable day because it was cloudy, cold, and windy. I was wearing 3 layers + a very warm jacket and it was still very cold. We spent a lot of time @ Forest Trail – I had a lot of fun but it was hard to ride with mad gusts D:
12 27 2009OK, so things got WORSE Sunday- It was colder, and windier than the previous day. We tried Mil Cafe and saw how Main lodge area was completely unbearable- So we moved to South Park and Canyon Lodge + Eagle Lodge area. It was weird because Canyon Lodge was actually sunny and the wind wasn’t that bad! I got some pictures of South Park – They had some fun features people would enjoy
 Snake Box? This thing looks really cool - I want to see someone hit this! You can find Bonobo in the background. Teehee.

Snowboard Magazine was there to taking pictures of the event, and there, they took one with us in too! It was so cold ; ;  Happy Day Really Happy!  불쌍한 쏠로 1  불쌍한 쏠로 2 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ 홍플립과 알레한드로와 -
설정도 아니였는데 옆에서 어정쩡하게 있다가 걸린 두분 ㅋㅋ
근데 이 두분 실제로도 솔로인듯.

I haven’t really written anything with pictures in a long while. I don’t know. It just got redundant after a while. It’s already been about two years since I started this blog (almost 2)
So here I go -
Well, it did snow all day last Friday, but snow did not accumulate as much as I expected. (I always want more than I can chew!) I was so tired but we woke up early and took the gondola to explore around. We found the secret stash we always go when it snows like that, and even though we didn’t get first chair we found a couple of spots where the snow was virgin ;D

It was a bit cloudy in the morning but it cleared up soon – but powder disappeared when the sun came up because temperature started rising, and did I mention the crazy local skiers who find every inch of fresh powder? Well, it seems they are not aware of our stash. Lucky us! We usually take the gondola about 2~3 times max, but I think that day we rode it about 6 or 7 times. I was about to faint when we went home. My hands were shaking. I was so done -_-

 *sniff sniff* no more powder Jiwon got his MVP (he is a sucker for Hyungs. Bonobo convinced him to get the pass.)  with my brother Waiting for other people. After this powder was pretty much buh-bye. :<

 I've never seen a "normal" snowboarder and this Bonobo seems pretty crazy himself.  where is bonobo? (I am never gonna get anything white) After hiking up that spot about 5 times, my heart and lungs were about to explode. I need to do more cardio >_<  yoning: "I can't find the acorn I planted here last year D:" bonobo:"-_-" For some reason this hill doesn’t look that steep, but actually this is more of a cliff than a hill -_- I was crying “UMMAAAAAH” all the way down until I reached a safe angle. According to Hong Flip and TK, this spot was clean powder. After the skiers raped this place, it looked like this:
