This is probably the most touristic thing I’ve ever done in Seoul, Korea. I might even be blushing about it a little while posting this because it’s so cliche-
Yes, I went to N Tower, (남산타워)
I just needed an idea and Bonobo and I needed something to do, and because I’ve been seeing N Tower in dramas and movies, I decided to give it a try- (Bonobo, who didn’t have a better idea agreed to go as well)
So this place is like one of those places that you might have been to when you were young (and too young to remember), but haven’t visited since- (actually now I am not too sure if I have ever been there!) somewhere you wouldn’t really go because there isn’t really much to the location now, but somewhere at one point in history was very popular (or so I guess-) – somewhere always bustling with foreign tourists- somewhere young couples would walk arm in arm or holding hands, making memories of their early twenties-
A picture is worth a thousand words-

- N Tower

- N Tower Teddy Bear Museum
There is a teddy bear museum at the base of the tower- I didn’t go because they charge an entrance fee and I guess I am finally getting mature or something but I didn’t really want to go there
but I did take some time taking pictures with the humongous teddy bears

- Looking at LA’s direction
Once we got up top, and they marked countries and cities all around the world on the window pane
and I chose Los Angeles pane to take a picture!

- Looking Down Seoul from N Tower – isn’t it cute
?
I couldn’t take a better picture because my camera is not that great but you get the idea- It was purty!

- N Tower Message Wall
This is something they setup so they can shark on naive tourists D: What they do is, they sell a piece of tile for about $12, and you can decorate or write on the tile however you want, and you can place them on designated walls inside the tower

- N Tower Message Wall

- N Tower Locks of Love (?)
This is the famous wall of locks! At the base of the tower, there is a corner fenced with wire- I don’t know who started this tradition, but people started leaving locks on the wire fences- Couples, I mean- I guess it would symbolize a promise of lovers- that they will always stay together, and their promise won’t pry open easily! I couldn’t help wondering how many of the couples actually stayed together since putting their lock at the tower-

- N Tower N Tower Locks of Love (?) Ours!

And I am guilty of writing a message with a lock
